I – 20 – Total Control
Total Control –
A state can behave toward its people just like an abuser in a family. The “coercive controller” takes complete control over the lives of others. In January 2026, the Iranian regime killed over 30,000 protesters in Iran. They killed their own people and turned the country—which belongs to everyone—into a slaughterhouse in order to maintain total control.
When the Germans invaded the Soviet Union, the Russian secret service withdrew from Lviv, first executing 5,000 political prisoners. When the Germans marched into Lviv, SS-Oberführer Karl Eberhard Schöngardt, born in Leipzig, had 22 professors of Polish descent, along with their family members, murdered on the night of July 3–4, 1941. It is estimated that up to 120,000 Lviv Jews were murdered during the German occupation.
